I want to format my 9210i and need assurance.

Are default applications (Real Player, Recorder, Word Processor, etc) are available straight after formatting completed?

Or Do I have to reinstall it separately?

After reformatting your commi, no application is available in your commi except the firmware (control panel, message, etc). You have to reinstall a package sofware called All_Nokia_*.sis that can be downloaded from www.nokia.com for its latest update (depends on your firmware version, press *#0000# on your phone side) and then you will get word, sheet, file manager etc. By installing this All_Nokia_*.sis, you do not need to install the standard apps separately.
