Increasing Volume for Ringtones (wav)

Is there a software that can help me to increase the volume of some wav files?
I transfered them to the phone and want to use them as ringtones BUT volume is to low.

Cool Edit can do the job. There is an option to amplify the song, but if you increase it too much, it will become distorted. Check www.suprnova.org under applications, or just search www.novasearch.net for it.

Not on your phone, no. Just amplify the file on your computer, and then resend it to your phone to use as a ringtone.

Why download cool edit? Just use the windows sound recorder in your pc... :-P
