Hard work, but it's finaly done and it works superb on my 3310! It is done in diffrent way than in SecTone so Phone Security function still works and it even asks you the code if you receive a message and press the 'Read' button (NaviKey). Guard rules! ;))

Why Reminders? I use them as a notepad to keep short notes. They are sometimes private and I didn't want my friends to see them. But if you don't like it you can always turn the reminders patching off.

It seems that this script needs a further developing (one good reason is to remove the bugs, especially with settings menu). I will probably work on it in couple of days - I'm busy right now :).

You have to use :) genolite. Open you flash file using genolite, load the script then run the script. After this, fix all check and save the file. After that, flash it to you phone and update faid.


BTW I can't use the menu from the 5E0 table. It just stuck there after you select the menu but the security pacth is working just the menu to turn it on or off. Can anybody help?

can you tell me what phone you are using, what sw version and what exactly happens? when does it freeze? when you select the settings menu or when you select the option inside it?

Ok I use 3310 V6.08. I used the 5E0 table in your patch (the one that you told us to really use) but when i entered the menu, it shows wants me to enter the security code. I tried to cancel it but nothing happen. It just freeze.

But when I choose the Msg ---> Inbox , it prompted the security code for me and after i entered it, the inbox open. It is working except the on off setting.

And one more thing, have you tried to press Menu then press number "2" 2 times (which is the shortcut for inbox). Does it freeze? Mine does.

First of all, I manage to make the menu work. It shows you two ontion, one to turn it off and one to turn it on. But the problem now is that when you disable the protection for outbox and erase msg, nothing happens. These menu still protected. Inbox works. I used 3310 v 5.57. I also thought that the v6.08 is a fake. I got it from a friend's FUBU.

I manage to make the menu show the setting after reboot. I'll post it late in this forum. But there is one thing. My clock screensaver also display the submenu. I tried to put 3E0 on the menu setting but no effect. Any suggestion. Bout' the menu that straight go to standby after select, I tried to play with the menu but no success. BTW i'm in KL. :D

Just use the 5e0 table that genolite generate after patching and make a menu for that. The On Off menu is self generated, you only have to make the menu to cakk the function. :D

Hi GsmCyber I tried this script but I leave default 0xFFFF 0xFFFE 0xFFFD... and it is working on my 3330 and 3310 v. 6.07. You only need to configure what you want to patch (inbox, outbox...) after patch create 5E0 menu to enable or disable guard via menu. It is working.

inbox and outbox sec work but reminders don't work at all. i have a 3330 4.50 flash. the settings menu asks me for the sec code and after i enter it it shows me "none" and "memory" (just like the security settings menu from "settings", but without the "phone" option). well inbox and outbox require sec code to enter... but no reminders and no menu to disable these... if you need more info please ask, i would like to make a nice mod for 3330 and include your script in it... it would be awesome
