have manage to unlock with cable it was not original cable but one off of ebay i could only get software to work with win 98 i used friea + all siemens by griffin

oh and ofcourse original cables do not work to unlock..
you need 'unlock' datacable

try to use win 98 and freia,it works on my siemens s55(version17)but,try to save first of all full flash and next unlock
