Hey everyone,

Anyone knows what the speaker of yer 3650/7650/6600 looks like?
Thinking of modding it to a 6610 type or n-gage type stero speakers.

Do u think its juz the speakers or is it s/w or other hardware related....??

Anyone dares to try modding it??

well, y not juz get a decent mp3player? or juz get the ngage. tts wat i did, hehe. i love my 3650, cant bear to modify it and risk it.

well i have an ngage and a 3650.

is there anyway of ripping the camera off the 3650 and putting it on the ngage.(safley)

I think there is alot of hardware differences in order for you to make
you phone to run in stereo... as far as i know the 3650/7650/6600 are all mono.. and is designed to be like that.. if you plan to change it then you better get some parts from the NGAGE and transplant it....

No i dun think that possible as the cam is defiantely hardware related. its connected to the mainboard.(PCB)

Yes wuz thinking along the line...
Coz if its juz the speakers that make a diffrence, im sure its possible to convert S60 to n-gage?'s speaker.

If i not wrong the 6610, and n-gage has the same speakers.

Look at it this way... the 6620.... seen the pic? due to it being stero, the bottom of the phone change to the same kind as the 6610....
WHich i think sux badly as slight movement will render the earpiece usless....
Wonder if it'll work normal plug type as the n-gage?

I'm pretty sure, if you put a n-gage speaker on a 3650 or 7650 etc it would not make any difference. It is more the sound card. You could have the best speakers in the world on your computer, but its only going to be as good as your sound card. So you would have to take the sound card from the n-gage as well and then you would need modified firmware, to have the proper drivers. You would be better getting an n-gage or an mp3 player. I couldn't imagine that process being cheap. But, hey, I might be wrong, I'm no electrician.

yea, coz its possible, but it might or might not work, plus, it aint cheap, voids ur warr, and u sacrifice a ngage. carrying 2 fones is troublesome, but hey, tts the price u gotta pay, hehe.

u cant haf the best of 2 worlds eh, seems like nokia wun let us haf tt.
