install blizzard.sis

hi! This time I want to know how the h-ll I get the blizzard.sis to be installed on my N-gage? I've tried to send it to the phone just by "send to...", and I've tried to install it via the explorer on my computer. It doesn't work, so I'm obviously doing something wrong... Someone who knows what? I've read hundreds of threads in this excellent forum, but none of the ones I've read says how to install the blizzard.sis on the phone, just that it should be done. BTW, my Pc-siute doesn't work (the phone and PC won't communicate that way - USB-cable in the prog). How can I make the prog understand that I use USB and not comm or bluetooth?

easy mate. using the usb cable, send the .sis file (works wif any applications too) to e:, dun place it in any folders, so it looks like tis: e:/blizzard.sis

den go manager, look for blizzard.sis, install, den delete from e:

to install blz games, put on e:, not in any folders, same place u put the app to install. den run blzinstaller to install.

Try Infra red its slow but it works and because blizzard is a small it wont tak emore than 20 secs or so

erm, theres no infra red on ngage, onli bt or usb cable.

n-gage hasnt got ir, but you can send it via bt, or download from a wap site.

nah, for ngage, juz use the usb cable, fast and easy, juz plug, click and drag, den install.

blizzard sucks, go for bosley it will save you 1/2 the amount of memory and it MUCH fast and hassle free, i found that only a few games installed using .blz Tony Hawks just frozes and a few others also

hey come on, they crack games for us to play, we shld gif them credit instead!

bosley's cracks are easy to use coz we haf ngage, blz cracks for 6600, ngage, and if possible, for 3650 too.

Thanks! There is only one problem; when I transfer the file, it's only showing on my computer, not on my phones' display. Anyone who knows what I'm doing wrong?

hi guys, basically i got my n-gage today, i'm fairly experienced with file transfer's etc etc. i managed to download the blizzard installer, and games. the problem is i'm not sure which files to install or in what order to install them in. I also got a program which uncompresses the files (iceows). do i uncompress them on a pc then look for the .blz / .sis file and transfer this to my phones e: discarding all the other files, or do i transfer the whole .rar / .zip to my phone.

For example:

With the installer do i transfer the whole .zip file to my phone, or do i just keep uncompressing until i find the bizinstapp.sis, and then just transfer the .sis only?

Then with the games, do i keep uncompressing until i find the .blz, then transfer this to my phone's e:, or do i move the whole .rar / .zip file?

Then how do i play them once they are both in my e:, does it matter which order i do things, if so what do i do?

I'm nearly there, so a little assistance will be greatly appreciated.

Transfer the .sis to mmc
Open Tools>manager and the blzinstapp.sis should be there
Open it and install
Make sure your .blz is on the root of MMC ( eg mmc:\pand.blz)
Run the blzinstapp ;)

so just to confirm what your saying is i only need the .blz and the .sis files. all the other ones generated when i uncompress the .rar / .zip are not needed?

Ive really tried alot of different ways now to work this out but nun of them have worked. I have a nokia n81 s60 that requires a blizzard.sis v2 version.

What i think separates my files on my MMC from others is that its called "sys" only. In that file theres three maps "bin, install and uninstall". Is this the system map? If its not i have no idea where it is.

Ive followed the guide on this forum:

But it havnt worked (the .sis guide). I also tried the .blz guide.


1) install the blzinstaller.sis, into fone or mmc, doesn matter.
2) send the .blz file to ur fone. for tis example, im gonna use sonic.blz.
3) move the .blz to the root dir of e:, which is ur mmc. meaning, DUN place it in any folders, place it in e:, so it looks like tis <e:/sonic.blz>
4) run blzinstaller to install, can take a while thou.

Note: if u send the .blz file to ur fone wifout using pc suite, it normally ends up in the inbox. For 6600 and 3650 users, space on c: is limited, so go to <messages>, <options>, <settings>, <other> set the mem in use to mmc.

and den, use a file explorer (example, fexplorer, seleq, etc), go to e:/system/mail/(1st folder), and find the .blz file, its in one of the 16 folders labelled 0-9, a-f. den cut, paste to e: root dir.

After the last part i couldnt find the system file, now thats wierd.

I think i also have problem with installing the blizzard.sis installer. I used the blizzard.sis installer from the forum i mentioned erlier in this reply, but it seems like ive failed to install it. Yeat im doing precisly what im suposed to do, in USB mode i put de blizzard.sis installer directly on the MMC, not in any mapp.


If anyone have a clue or have had the same problem i would appreciate some help.
