e700 imei change?

i have downloaded the e700 imei changer i have the s500-e700 data cable but when i try and change imei i cant read data from phone in tat mode?
step by step instructions would help greatly.
what # should i use in the scroll down list i am in the uk with a uk handset if anyone can please help just reply to this thread

I was just wondering if you could give some support on the Samsung S500 Service Tools Ver 2.00 by myky. Why don't you link to this post later if any one would also like som support on the same program.

If I would like to change the IMEI (on my e700), what do I need to do?

1. Choose the COM port
2. Enter the new IMEI
3. What button to press? The IMEI-button?

What does the other buttons do?

Unlock:
IMEI:

it's not blacklisted, i'm doing this of learing purpose. you hear this all the time prolly, but thats how it is. im really curious on how things like these work. and to change your imei number would be cool (to have a phone they cannot track down trough the imei).

But i understand if you aren't up to help me! I just thought it would be a good tutorial for everyone who wanted to learn.
