How To Reveal Witheld Numbers

While I was browsing eBay today I came accross this:

Its a Nokia 3410 that apparantly displays WITHELD NUMBERS.

I asked the seller how it worked and he said:

"It is fully automatic and transparent but it is achieved by a series of
modifications to the system and the use of a gateway. You can use your own
phone in which case we need to set up a link from the gateway to your phone."

The charges seem quite expensive, does anyone know about this, or know how I could find more information about such a gateway ???

Nope........ it sounds a bit like witchcraft to me :-o

It would be interesting to know how it worked tho - I get fed up with people that I dont want to talk to witholding their number from me.

(not fed up enough to splash out £200 tho !!)

I always answer it and as soon as I hear the voice I think........ bugger !! :lol:

yea man, £200 quid! i thinks its all a bit of shite, it if was the case that u can find out a withheld number we would have known about it by now :D

in fact talk of developing an app to reveal withheld nos was thrife a few months ago, i rem seeing the thread, and it said tt pvt nos had a code in front, so it shows no with held or pvt no. tink its 31 or sth... i forgot. but there was no conclusion to tt thread, juz some discussions.
