Stupid 3595 w/ cingular thinks its offline.

I just got a 3595 with cingular and my phone works very well. MY only problem is that i didn't have im service or internet enabled and i tried to sign on my aim screen name. The phone never successfully signed onto aim so i cancelled it but whenever i get a message on aim, the phone tells me "New item, IM client". I never signed on completely so my phone thinks it isn't signed on. I called cingular and nokia and they cant fix it. MY computer says that i am signed on at anoher location whenever i sign on to aim. I tried going through menus and looking for a sign off but i cant find one. Is there any way to get my phone to sign off of aim?

might be a stupid comment from me, but have you tried to turn your phone off? take the battery out?

Yes, i have tried everything with this phone and i can't log it off. Cingular mentioned that it might be aols fault and that they are sending my phone a signal every time i get an im.

After 5 days, it stopped so I guess the problem is solved.
