Help,

Got one of these at xmas. I have managed to download jpegs and midi files by pointing the wap browser directlt to the files that I uploaded onto my webspace. Feeling flush with success I thought I would do the same for games, and point the browser to the jad files I uploaded, I uploaded the jar files as binary files.

I have tried the following with no success:

uploaded .htaccess file (apache server).
created my own index.wml page to see if I could download them via this method.

The problem seems, to me anyway, that the phone doesn't understand what it is supposed to do with any of the files, either jad or wml, that I point the browser to. The phone displays them as text files.

All help greatly appreciated.

:-?

try ignoring the jad etc and put the link to the jar file in your phone you should have no prob downloading the games. I upload my jar files to my space on geocities and have had no probs.

the files are for 3510i must be under 64k in size or perhaps try a differant webspace if that dosn`t solve the prob probably your service provider at fault. you should have no prob just downloading the jar files

Could someone provide me with the url to a jar file so that I can test the phone?

If it works I'll know to try and get websapce somewhere else.
