hey i was trying to send a ringtone to my mums phone the other day there but it would not let me send anythin to her fone by infared is my mums phone buggered and needs to go to nokia or something else

hey i was trying to send a ringtone to my mums phone the other day there but it would not let me send anythin to her fone by infared is my mums phone buggered and needs to go to nokia or something else

The series 40 infrared i believe only allows you to only transfer contacts, calender details, to-do details and messages only to another series 60 phone and vice versa. It wouldn't allow either ringtones or pictures to be transferred over via irda to both s40 or s60 phones.

There's nuthing wrong with ur mom's phone, mate. It's just the limitation of series 40 itself.
