I got the algo from andrei (in fact I tried 0000, 1111, 2222, .... , 9999 with his online LG calc and made note of the codes), not Crux so that's why he is not mentioned

well seems that 7010/7020 codes work in some 7100. the problem is that in some 7100 u cant get unlock menu, so u cant enter unlock code :p

I tried it on a Orange UK spec LG7100, didn't work. I can get the "secret" menu, but it doesn't accep the unlock code. Would love to get in touch with someone who has the code.

What happened with LG models as g4010 and g4011, why those are forgotten within the LG unlocker minds?

It´s obvious i´m not included with the brilliant minds but i really need the lg g4011 code generator or at least one code for my lovely phone.

Trying to unlock a LG 7020, but when i put in that special code (2945#*70001#) the phone just says "Done" with a smiley face and then goes back to the main screen.

Is there any way to get past this?

Figured it out, i have to go to the menu manually and go to security settings and the SimLock option is now displayed in there.

Calls out are still barred and when someone dials in, they get a series of 3 beeps.

I've read around a bit, do i need to change the EMEI number ?

Yes, the phone was found, and reported that it was found, but i got to keep it.

My question is , as a complete newbie, what do i need to do this ? Cables or anything ??
