thats what i want thinking .i am actually thinkin about goin to the nokia reapir shop and askin them if they will do it for me i havent bought a faceplate yet but if nokia say they can do it then thats sound

Man ... I don't like those covers ... but I wouldn't mind having the Rose cover :lol: - I have the Light Grey cover (most people do, don't they?)

But I don't like the risk of opening the case because:

1. Might void warranty, my phone's only 2 months old!
2. Dust might enter and ... I hate it when that happens!

ITs Really EASY....!!!!
AS simple as A B C.....

The face plate is exactely juz like nokia 6100 .....

try using your fingernails... or something that wont damage the fone or cover,
slide it between the cover and center piece.... start frm the bottom, then all the way to the power button.
keep doing this on both sides... untill the face plate pops open.

This does not void the warrenty.... as there is no screws involved!!!
But juz to be safe... pls use back orginal casing when sending to nokia for any repair.

THe minute u open any torx screw that will void the warrenty....

juz stay on the safe side...do not open any thing related to holding the fone together....
facial things are ok.....

u will have to wait for other colours as i will have to purchase them juz to show u guys....

ok here are step by step pictures on how to remove the cover.

1st insert your finger nails.... or toothpick.... (REMEMBER... somthing tht wont scratch the casing)

2nd Slowly slide nails inbetween gaps till the power button.
repeat on both sides....

3rd. VOILA!! remove cover!!!
(IMPORTANT NOTICE!!! PLS RETAIN YOUR ORGINAL CASING AND BUTTONS FOR FUTURE USE)

Anyway new facial keeps it looking fresh!!..... now i wont have to worry anymore about scratching the screen or the cover... as i'm sticking to aftermarket ones until... i sell it? or send to nokia care?

basically its really up to individuals... im juz showing them....
coz many 6600 users wreck their fones? or perhaps wan something fresh?

recently someone smoked up till he drops his burning weed on the screen??

Well i want a new face now lol bout one on ebay about 2 hours ago.as my dog jamp up n bit the fone n scratched the screen a wee bit plus a fancy a change lol.ill show u pics of ma fone my mate kim opened it wae her nails n broke one.n wee nats was here 2 lol.my blue cover will b here in 5 days lol.but when a take it back to nokia ill remember to put the other face back on it lol

I saw something for a different phone, haven't found any 6600. And btw, I'm talking about stuff on Ebay AU ... which usually is bare and the US/UK are better in quantities and variety ...
