Yes, try this one, put the phone in bootloader mode, open active sync and go to setting and untick the USb setting, put phone in the cradle and then run the program.

Have tried the procedure but will not work as i see it if you untick the usb link your breaking the link between pc and phone so how can it connect the program which is what the prog tells me when i try to connect.any further help please.thanks.m :-?

The unlock program does not use active sync to talk to the phone, so as such you dont need active sync installed to unlock the phone, also should have said that the program only works on 2000 or xp, I have not tested on 98 or me, if you do a seach on here you will see I posted a "how to" some time ago.
