Nokia 3200 No SMS Delivery Report

hie there everybody,

my question is about nokia 3200, which i have been using for 28 days already by today.....bought it on new year day..kind off a new year gift for myself for working like a dog for the past 2-3 months then :lol: love this phone, it has almost every good features that should be made available for a series 40 phone...anyway, back 2 the question: i realised that in 3200, there is no option to enable delivery report for sms.....the option for delivery report for mms is available there but not for sms...are there other 3200 users out there having the same problems??? by the way, im using 3200 software version as follows:

11-10-03
RH-30
3200

i guess nokia missed out the feature when designing the 3200 software, so is there any a way for the delivery report will be made available back to 3200 by a software upgrade in future..does anybody knows if the latest 3200 software is out or not??

Many networks have a code to enable reports.

I know that here in the UK if I enter *0# at the start of any sms I do get a report. I am on o2 UK.

Research and find out what you one is. It is not the best fix, but it is better than nothing.

thanks for the reply...anyway, im in malaysia....so, im not kinda off sure if whether the code will work out or not or the networks here support it or not...like u said, it is better than nothing, so wat i got to lose if i tried it anyway...thanks again !!! :)

i tried sending a sms to my phone with those codes just a short while ago, but i didnt receive any delivery report at all...i guess they dont work here..simply too bad!! :sad: :sad: :sad:
