I hate bluetooth!

I purchased a Billington Usb bluetooth device. I installed the software and PC suite and I had no problems connection the comp to the phone. The problem is that the computer keep saying "no services found" when I´m trying to send stuff to the phone from the computer or if i´m trying to access it in any other way. The strange part is that I can send things from my phone to the computer but not from the computer to the phone.

I have read every guide out there but I still cannot find a solution. Please help me!!! :-?

I Have a Billington Usb bluetooth device too. I have encountered the same problem before... this is what I did... uninstall Billionton driver and the PC Suite software... install the PC Suite software first and then the driver and software of Billiongton Usb device... try it... you can send and recieve files by then... Hope this helps... I have other options... just let me know if you still have problems using the device... Hope this helps...

Did you pair your phone to the computer?
and the pc suite it a must to install. After install buletooth and pc suite then pair up your phone to the com restart your phone then the mrouter should connect to your phone and you are ready to start the pc suite.

Go to Advance Configuration then Local Services delete all your bluetooth serial port just leave one bluetooth serial port and set it to COM7. Then go to client services and leave one serial port and set it to COM8. Make it sure that in Accessibility your phone is in the list... hope all goes well... if not we're down to my last option... but first try this... It works...

I got the same probs but another blue tooth dongle, i cant send things to my phone, but the other ways works perfect, i start to use oxygen to transfer stuff to the phone. :evil: :evil:

Yes for me.

I tend to use:

Oxygen Phone Manager II for Symbian: Infrared Only

Nokia PC Suite for 6600: Bluetooth on default, but when Bluetooth is down and have to restart ... I turn to Infrared :lol:

I'll be using Bluetooth for my 6600 as well as my N-Gage ... its coming through Express Post :D

I have X-Micro Bluetooth (very cheap ang great software), no problem with my 6600 on Win Me/2000. ap.10X faster than IrDa , COM port emulation, comfortable etc...

No offense, mate. but just because bt is not working for, doesn't mean that its the worst damn f**king thing ever invented. U hate it, well that's ur preference. I've had bt working on my pc with my 3650 using with or without pc nokia suite. I'm able to transfer files, pair my pc to my phone (to act as a modem) to access the internet using GPRS connectivity, etc. And it's the best damn f**king thing ever invented.

I think i got a sulotion... i had the exactly same problem but i figured it out in the end. u use the widcomm software right??? well do u use the newest version? thats exactly the problem (at least for me it was)! dont use the newest, use an older version. change to v.1.2. that worked for me (note that i have a zeevo bt device and not billington) try it. tell me if u want me to upload the installation file for u.

Mister u dont have to hate bluetooth.. if u have problem i have the best solution to connect your phone to pc with connection manager in pc suit.. 1st u install pc suit and after u XTNDConnectBlueManager its the coolest software .. its allow every thing which allow infra .. remember dont install ur driver .. and plz reply me about this at [email protected] . and last thing bro . extend connect bluetooth will automatically get ur bluetooth driver ( ok brother bye and dont forgt to mail ) bbye
