Hi,

My 331x-557.
As began here: http://nokiafree.org/forums/t5329/s.html

I replaced the Network monitor logo outside of the mcu, so now it can be bigger, 74x16 pixels.
I could do for all other 138 menu logos too, but it is rather time consuming.

Since I not want to dissappoint U for the moment I made those other 64x16 instead of the normal 64x14.

U can modify them to Ur own style in eg NokHex or Fgraphic. (underneath the red line)

The NetMonitor menulogo U can edit in, use eg HexGraph by Mr. Max3232.
(at location 12B960h, size 94h, screen 74x16)

Besides the Network/ Battery bar icon improvements is have now:
Nicer Network/ Battery Bars.
Mcu 'dead' check Calc Solution.
*#0000# Info. :)

I couldn't find about the logo animation sequence yet.
Maybe anyone else knows where or how this could be definied?

Hi,

There is not much difference to the last bmp, only the menu logos.
And I not drawn them, U still need to do draw Urself.

The DEAD thing is a symbolical value.
U can ignore any error or recalc mcu check warnings.
There is absolutely no need for mcu recalc anymore in future editing.
This file has always a valid mcu checksum, no matter what.

>>Do you know programming??
Unfortunately I am not that smart.
I hope the programmers can pick up such ideas and built it for U guys.

I have a question to U guys:
Since this was just as demo, tell me what would be a suitable menu logo size?

Everything what U talk about in this forum is done in the PPMEdit 1.0. It has been finished, now I'm just testing. In 1-2 days I'll release the final version!

Hi Guys,

I not found the 7>15 animation, but I found some tables for the menu structure.

I switched two lines to test and indeed it worked.
Now the menu 14 <> 15 are swapped.

Netmonitor is permanent on 14 and the menu from my providers sim is on 15.

Switching netmonitor off will set the sim menu off now!

Mr. Pedjulino,

For that one I corrected the table data where all the logo addresses are.
That table is behind the logos themself.
The extra space I got was by making the next smaller.
On the network/battery and netmonitor logo I replaced to other location, so I have all the space I want.
Can be done to almost any data I think.

And maybe Mr. Tnp is right, U will see on some days.
Then that can help U out.

Hi,

Howto use Ur own 557 ppm:

- Rename the downloaded file to mcu.fls
(only use 1, size = 1310720)

- Flash the ppm from Ur phone, from 34.0000 upto 3D.0000.
(size = 589824)

- Rename this ppm to ppm.fls

- Now press the command line > copy /b mcu.fls+ppm.fls MyFull.fls
(size = 1900544)

- Open in MyFull.fls in ppm manager, recalc and save again.

- Flash MyFull.fls now to phone and set faid.

Where does the problem start?

Hi... NokDoc

I forgot something !!!

By the way, this is what i've done it before:

1. Rename your xxx331x-557_special_menu_logos_part4.zip to
Mcu.Fls with Dos Command
2. Read my Flash phone with Rollis 4.77 then do following
Special command copy PPM to Binary & copy Binary to PPm,
Then Saved the PPM to PPM. Fls
3. Now I've got PPM.fls and your Mcu.fls,
4. Then in Dos command press the command line copy /b
mcu.fls+ppm.fls MyFull.
5. I've got a Myfull.fls, but the flash file a little bit big than before.
6. I do correct the Mcu with Nokiafree and corect the PPm CRC
with PPM Manager
7. Then Flash it back to my phone

and the problem is I cant flash it back to My phone using Rollis 477,

Now what should I do... please tell where I'm doing wrong....

Thanks for you advised....
