3510 turns it self off when SIM card is IN

My 3510 powers up OK without a sim card, it will sit all day displying "Insert Simcard". When the sim card is in the phone powers up, asks for the PIN code, then flashes its lights, flashes the unset clock for a split second, then turns its self off. Without the sim its OK, you can type numbers OK into the screen, the *#war0nty# works so does *#06# charges ok etc. and Anyone got any ideas?

Hi mangh34.

From what you describe, it seems that your SIM Card is defective.
I suggest you insert another SIM Card of the same Provider and see if it works properly.
