Future N-Gage - Curious

If there are N-Gage games coming out like MD Pro Soccer, Ashen, Taito Memories, Operation Shadow and Sega Rally ...

Surely Nokia won't release another gaming phone in the next year or two?

I mean, I don't see Gameboy or XBox creating a new improved product every six months or so ...

What are your thoughts?

(I hope Blizzard will crack the new games that are coming out! :D )

I won't think nokia brings out a ngage2 or similar this year or early next year because it would only cost them money and they try to get the max out of the ngage1 in terms of money. They produce them until it is becoming really outdated and then they come in with the ngage2 or what name the device will get.

I know that nintendo launches the nintendo DS at the end of the year but as far as I know It can't play nintendo gamecube games because it lacks the cpu power and a dvd drive. This will be a new platform so let's see what it will be.

The Ngage2 would probably have more features than the Ngage but still the same machine, I mean there not going to make Ngage2 games that won't work on the Ngage, it would be stupid for Nokia. The first time I saw the Ngage was on CNN in Late 2001 with Pandemonium on it and it took Nokia 2 years b4 they released it. So If Ngage2 is a completely new machine its going to be at least 2 - 3 years b4 we see it in the stores

The Nintendo DS (Dual Screen, or Double Screen) has two screens. It cannot play GAmecube games, and may not be backward compatible with GBA.
Games will have to be specially coded for it and it's two screens. One screen can be used for an overhead view, for example, and the other screen might display a close up view.

nokia is only new to the gaming world ,the ngage will be replaced soon if they want to surive in the ever growing video game world i got a game boy advance sp but this year better units are coming out like the

Sonys PSP 24bit system

Nintendo DS

and a possible microsoft handheld

i would say an ngage 2 is highly likely, i am so confused what to buy a sony psp or nintendo ds i have been a nintendo gamer for ages but the sony looks like a killer unit just like ps2 which i am most happy with 2 but unfortantely the psp is not going to be cheap!
