Very weird ringer problem

Maybe some one can help me out on this. I have a 6100 and recently the phone would just stop ringing randomly. It would not ring no matter wat setting I would have it on, and after a few days it would ring again. I thought the speaker was clogged so I tried banging it on the table, but that didn't seem to work :-P Anyway, what can I do so that it does ring all th time like it is supposed to?

You're not the first person with this problem. See this thread for others experiences: http://nokiafree.org/forums/showthread.php?t=45629 As I said in that one, my friend had the same problem and she took the battery out and put it back in and worked fine from there. I Still think its worth getting Nokia to do a software upgrade for free if its under warranty.
