3650 Still Not Unlocked?

I'm a T-Mobile customer with a 3650 (USA). I posted my code here and got the unlock code (thanks). However, when I try to use my friend's SIM card (Cingular USA) in my phone, it won't work! Is my phone unlocked? Should cingular sims work with that particular phone?

what does your phone say when you insert your freinds sim

It doesn't say anything... when I insert my friend's sim and boot the phone it starts up normally but I have NO signal. When I try to place a call I can't.

Any ideas?

Ok, I figured it out. For anybody who cares, you need to go into "Tools, Settings, System" and change the System Selection from Automatic, at which time it scans for any new providers, when you select the appropriate provider.

Hope this helps someone in need :)
