Message Reports?

I have a question guys. I turned on the message reports for text messages and it always say 'PENDING'. Shouldn't it say 'sent' or something.

i had the exact same problem what you do is send the SMS with the FULL country code even if the sms is local

Even i have the same problem

when i send a MMS it always says pending even though the person has recieved it.

in case of SMS it shows pending but when i restart the phone is says delivered with a notification not unless in restart.

i'll try the Country code thing ....hope it works.

It still didn't fix it. I always add the country code to the mobile number on my contacts. I think we don't know how to use this feature properly.

Umm i don't seem to be having any problems with the delivery reports, there are three types: -
Delivered, Pending and Failed..

Some network don't support delivery reports. O2 UK is one so if you turn on delivery reprot all you get is pending. But if you start the message *0# you get back an extended report in the form of a text message not ideal but at least you know your message got there.

Ok so I get it. It is dependent on the mobile carrier. Tnx to all who posted. Too bad my mobile carrier doesn't support this feature. I guess some are better than others.
