Hi everyone,

I have found this forum really helpful. I bought an unlocked Nokia 6800 in the Philippines while visiting my family. My plan is to use the phone (with a Filipino sim card) everytime I go back for a visit. In the US, I want to use it to receive free SMS messages from my family and friends in the Philippines.

I found a website www.telestial.com that offers US sim cards and the ability to buy prepay cards. Does anyone know if telestial is reputable, good, etc.? Also, does it make sense to use prepay cards or should I buy a 1-year plan from Cingular or T-Mobile? Will Cingular or T-Mobile even sell me a plan if my Nokia 6800 is unlocked and was bought in the Philippines? I tried going to a T-Mobile store already and the guy said my phone was locked (it isn't), so I'm not sure they are use to dealing with people with unlocked phones.

Any help would be really appreciated

Thank you.
