does anyone know if its possible to upgrade the memory on a 6610 to a higher capacity? mine has 260KB.

You have 260KB left? or you have that in total because you should have more than twice that on a clean phone, remember the memory is shared, what software version are you running?
No mem upgrade available that I know of on the 6610.

i calculated most of it (pictures, games, extra ringtones apps & free memory) and it comes up to arond 593.9KB
i don't have that many text messages stored on the phone and no calculator/to-do lists.
is this about right?
also, is it possible to flash the phone to say a 7250 so that you could increase the mem. i'm not exactly a phone buff :lol:

6610 has a shared memory of 625kb so yes your about right, an upgrade to a 7250 is not possible and besides to get a big memory advantage would be a hardware thing and not software.
