The 1100 is a dct3 phone by the looks of things,
You can re-flash the software on to these very easily

look here:http://nokiafree.org/forums/t31346/h/s.html

this a tutorial on flashing dct3 phones

I'm not sure where you can download flash files at the moment though

Danny

As gezzuz said the nokia 1100 is a dct4 fone and so needs to be flashed with a dct4 flasher
Which are expensive and sometimes hard to use.

Best bet is to get someone else on the forum to flash it for you

Post your location and problem in the dct4 flashing/upgrading section

Danny
