Nokia 8890 Internal Earpiece

I can't hear people talking on my 8890. Does anyone know if the internal ear piece is interchangable with any other Nokia models? Or suggest a good place to purchase one. THanks.

It is most likley that the ear peice is not at fault. on this phone the ear peice is held in place by the housing.

It is a common prolem that id the two screws at the top of the housing have become loose or have come out, the housing will come apart ever so slightly and therefore the ear peice will loose contact with the PCB.

A sinple test for this is whilest in a call when you cannot here press on the nokia logo on the phone. if you can then here you know this is your problem.

If this is the case pull the antenna off ( the black bit at the top of the phone and tighten the screws.
