I have a 3310 (for a little bit more than 1.5 years). It's an okay thing BUT.............

It continuously switches off for no reason (It has full battery charge). It appears to happen when the phone warms a bit due to sunshine, charging whatever.

It has software v 04.19 (03-01-01 NHM-5)

Would a flash to a higher software repair it? I found some stuff on the internet but it says to change some chip inside, and that's a bit to much to do

the fault is caused by problems/glitchs on the serial data line from MAD to HAGAR. to fix need to replace R301, New value is 100ohm's. dont know where you will get one, Nokia part no. is 1620017. if you still have problems after this then flash needs to be looked at.

hope this helps.
