Explain me java applications?

Hi.
Is there someone can make clear about nokia java application?
1.Those jad,jar-s are both of them java app?
2.How can I load, and run those app? For example for 3510
where copy them?
3.Does java apps are multiplatform? I mean can I load 3510 java game,apps to
siemens java enabled phone? Can I load 3510 java game,apps to other
7210,6610,6600? Are they comportable with symbian nokia?

Hi!

1 You need .jar and .jad files to run application. (Jar it's application and Jad it's file for upload) You can make .jad file Yourself using a pgogramm as JadGenerator.

2 You can upload application with data cable and programm (MobiMB OxygenPhoneManager) or download it via WAP.

3 You can use nokia applicatios only on nokia phones. Yuo can use 3510i applications on 128*128 screen phones, but You can't use 128*128 screen applications on Your 3510i (Because it will be not full screen size)

How much space do have recent nokia phones? How many appz and games can digest?

Hi again!

It depeands of phone memory. Nokia 3510i has about 670Kb, 3200 has 1Mb, 7250i has 4Mb. Some phones have MMS card with 256Kb and more!

Yes, Java nokia games DO work on Symbian nokia phones because they do have a j2me virtual machine too. But symbian games are much more fun!
