have u guys tested this cos i downloaded it four times and written to 4 different fones (all 3310) not a single one has the unlocker built into it !!! It just appears as a dct3 3310 with inverted screen and flashing tones and fading screen

Can someone check that they have got it and it works cos for me it just doesnt !

I think in order to solve the Keypad problem u will have to reset factory settings.

Ok flashed the fone with the Fash file ......All ok
asks me for Pin code ......All ok
Finds Network covarage ........All ok
then Keypad Auto locks ........till here ok
But when i try to unlock Keypad all is say is Keypad Locked
dont let me unlock keypad
i press Unlock and * all i get is Keypad Locked

but did not work
hat did work was that i had to Erase first the flash and flash the Mados flash twice for it to work
but it sill has a few bug

@ CRUX:

Excellent flash, i like the standard fonts in mados now. A couple of bugs, the mados timer seems to go too fast, reboots after a few minutes. Also it seems some of us are getting problems with the lights staying on- when you activate keylock, wait for the lights to go out, then when you touch a key, the lights come on and never go off. Any ideas ?

I have also the problem of this flash rebooting after a couple of minutes and the lights occasionally stay on.

I would like to change the Crux menu labels to English could someone inform of how this is done please.

Yes, i acknowledge all the team for their efforts with MADos. The problem is somebody called it MADos by Crux, and people are naturally relating to it as that, when, as the man himself said earlier, it should be something like "flash by Crux, with MADos" ! Having said that, credit also goes to Crux for integrating it into his flash, including some of his own features.

- As for those having problems getting the flash working, i use rolis 4.71 (cos 4.78 or higher won't load the file, says its an incomplete file, anyone know why?), then i use rolis noktool 1.8 to do FAID, then SFR, then set Netmon.

- As for the MADos rebooting, and lights problems, i haven't a clue whether it's a bug in MADos, or in the rest of the flash itself. Crux any ideas ?

You must choose the "write binary buffer to flash" button (red circle) and then choose the flash by crux!

When the addresses window pops up, just press OK, as the default address is already correct. Afterwards just press the power button of the phone (shortly ;) )

that's it. No warning messages.

the "virus" is a sms message, that causes nokia 33xx and 5210 (dct3 of course, not 3300) to hang and restart. in other models you'll only get a normal sms message.

I am selling a fone (which i had to buy) with the flash on it - I was giving both you and Mados credit for the work u put into developing the flash !!
But primarily selling a handset !!!!


I also provide a service for other "Crazy" members where i will flash there own personal fones for £10 as lots of members still dont know how to flash dct3 and some of them have need for this kind of software !!

I have 2 points to make... as a fellow member.

This is based on my opionion, nothing else. Flame me if you wish, but I am not worried nor do I advise it.

As far as I saw it, gatsby76 is 100% correct. Crux, rememeber wolfie did the same move and g3gg0 said all is ok as you are selling the phone. He can hardly let the 3310 go for free just as it has madOS on it. He must charge for the 3310 itself. I think his price is normal for a 3310, and it does not appear to me that he has raised the price due to madOS. You had a very strong view the last time this happened here... yet you have switched sides this time :-?. I find that a conflict of interest.

Also, my second point. The title of this thread is wrong. Give credit where credit is due. Crux has worked on madOS I know that. But did g3gg0 not make it, and add algo? If so why does it say

Crux didn't add it... g3gg0 added it to my knowledge. Maybe I am wrong...?

Maybe you did find dct3 algo and add it for g3gg0 ? Or maybe there is a bit of credit stealing going on ? Or maybe it is 1am and I talking shit!

I take no offence from your post at all and can understand your obvious concerns if i was literally selling the flash file for cash - I know a lot of work by many people has gone into this flash file and how bad it would seem if some "leech" was then just selling it on / passing it off as his oe her own work.

I ope this matter is now resolved, and as stated previous it is the fone / service of flashing which is for sale - £20 for a 3310 is cheap here in uk -- they still sell in shops (tesco and asda if u would like to check) for near on £60 !

I am using IE6, I can get to first page, then second page but using this link when I go to downloads I dont get the options of Nokia or seimens however I had link for old page on my pc which allowed me link in and get the download menu. So I got in. Many thanks for great site, despite this link it was well worth the effort. Thanks again. :)

You can put it in an 8210/8850 also 2100, 6210 and 3330

Just follow the link I said below and compile MADos yourself

Mados compiling? Why not, i'm going to give it a shot ! How would i go about the trickier fixes tho, such as allowing hexa input to the dct3 calc, fixing the erratic timer etc ? Or is that something the creators of it do ? I wouldn't mind helping with its maintenance, if my knowledge of it was that good ! :)

Unfortunately i am on win98 and cannot compile mados from the flash myself - I am also having trouble d/loading the files properly - they keep being received fully but the files are corrupt.

Could anyone here do me a big favour and post up full flashes for 32, 33, 34 , 62, 82, and 8850 if possible with MADOS already in there - and preferably the dct3 / 4 flash so that i can download them direct

This would be a great help and thanks in advance

I know this is probably a stupid question, but can code calc's such as DCT3 or even DCT4 be written into a java application? i'm sure many people would find it usefull to be able to unlock on thier shiny new DCT4 handset (or even older java supporting things like 3410). Its just a thought as i dont pretend to know the first thing about java apps, i have limited knowlege of assembly code writing but not in ARM, just simple stuff like 68000 or 6502.

Well if flashed it to my phone few things that dont work but thats no biggy at least it works and its different to s standard 3310 im impressed so keep up the good work guys cant wait for a newer one to try !
