With g3n0lite kill faid, fix all checks and flash that flash file to phone.

yes. use noktool by rolis v1.8 or 1.9

Mbus cables are so cheap to buy and even cheaper to make,

Why is there a need to do it without??

if you use dejan DONGLE there's no need for cable, because the faid is automatically update after flashing by the dongle.
else (with dct3-flasher-interface) you need a cable
