I have win2000 and is not work nothing.

I have in my laptop win2000 and i try to install a flasher.
I try programe userport but i still have problem.i have rollis478 now the programe start and is not contact to the fone. My cables is chect to another pc and works perfect.Can anybady tell me in wich way can i fix my problem?????

Have you tried any other programs? Or an earlier version or Rolis, like maybe 4.77? This version works 110% for me ;)

Maybe your lpt port has not enough power... this is sometimes happening on laptops. You shou try to ad external power to you fash cable. I have no schematcis for that (sorry).

I think if you want to request for help, better post more error message you get, so ppl will be more easy to helping you to solve your problem.

did your other pc also running win2000 and userport?

if yes, then should be like what knoefz said, or maybe you can check with other flasher first, like knok and winflasher.

Hmm...

Maybe try what KnOeFz said wit the external power for the flasher...

I remember a post some time ago about a user having problems with this and having their LPT/COM settings changed in BIOS (I don't think it wqas on a laptop though), not sure if it was the irq/dma settings or something, and the problem seemed to be fixed... would have to research a little...

Anyway, it's never boring helping people out ;)

Poor english, bad grammar, and typography errors occur every once in a while, anything is acceptable as long as you get your point accross, however cussing isn't necessary to get your point accross...

I've noticed that if you try putting moderator as that text above your avatar/below your name in the post that it gets blanked out, actually it's replaced by asterisks (I tried 'Demoderator' once and that didn't work :))

However swearing isn't... can someone explain why this dicision has been taken?
