Hi! I got a question for you guys and would like some opinions!

For the same amount of money, would you rather get a 6600 or SE P800?

Does anyone know if there are a lot of apps and games for the SE P800 just like for our Nokia Symbian phones?

P800 is HUGE, doesnt record videos, and looks crap. 6600 all the way!

For the same $$$??? You must be scanning through network contracts :D An open line P800 costs a lot more $$$ than a 6600.

You'll have to see what your needs are.
Pros of a 6600 over a P800 are: 65k color screen, more and higher capacity MMC to add, better camera|video quality, so far I haven't encounted any problem with my 6600 and I've already bumped & scratched it at least twice. A light bump on the P800 will sometimes cause it to freeze and I've already sent my P800 to a service point twice in the last 8 months due to manufacturing defect (even the headset has a defect) n6600's BT supports FTP service. n6600 has T9 (predictive text, P800 doesn't)

Pros of P800 over 6600: better battery life, big screen, touch screen, writing recognition, stereo audio through headset, better audio, you can use your computer's internet connection through your P800 via IR|BT. Oddles of accessories included with the box (usb cradle, headset, case, stylus replacement, CD containing try & buy games/applications).

Lots of DOS games has been ported to the P800 but IMO the successful ones has been the games that has a point & click interface. Trying to play an arcade game using the P800 can be a nightmare (not only to your fingers but also to the P800's touch screen) The 6600's joystick comes in handy for playing arcade/action games but it's still kind of awkward controlling the game with one hand to control the joystick and another hand pressing on the numeric keypads.

There are already a lot of useful applications for the P800 and the stylus comes in really handy when handling most of these applications (ie. try quickword on the 6600 vs the P800. It's faster typing using a stylus =)

Well, my humble and Finnish opinion is that go for 6600. I also think that the P800 is more expensive and that 6600 has better qualities as told before.

you asking me? hehehe. I know P900 is the most expensive of the three followed by the P800 then the n6600.

of course if you are to add the XDA2 then it blows the three CPs away (in price :D
