I don't think the nokia multimedia converter converts mpeg files to .rm format, you need helix producer plus to convert mpeg files to compliant .rm files that will play on real player. You can use also use pvauthor by packet video to convert mpeg files to mp4 and play it on your phone using pvplayer (there's a crack of version 3.0 out there). You can use nokia multimedia converter as it is readily available free of charge, unfortunately, the quality of the 3gp video it produces sucks, even if you use high settings.

CONVERSION QUALITY

Nokia Multimedia Converter - Poor video and audio. Easiest to use among all the converters.

Pvauthor - Acceptable video quality if you play it in portrait mode (small screen), quality is poor if you play it in landscape mode (fullscreen). Audio isn't so good. Converts video to mp4

Helix Producer - Very nice video quality, specially when using 150k audience, audio is also very good. Converts video to .rm

Mobiclip - So far, this is the best that I've seen in terms of quality, superb fullscreen video and audio quality. The only drawback is that the files produced are rather large. Converts video to .mo
