help!my 3530 doesnt detect in the pc

I just bought a data cable and when i tried it with my 3530 in Mobile Mb(supports 3530)it doesnt work..i tried pushing the data cable so that it works but it still doesnt detect..?I hv installed many cell phones programs on my pc and so i tink there is a program conflicting with the communication port..?is this problem a conflict..or is it my data cable which is not working?

Hi have you tried using your cable with another programe such as oxygen phone manager II? I have 2 Nokia 3530's that wont turn on when the data cable is connected to the computer. I have to disconnect the cable from the computer, turn the phone on, and then reconnect to the computer. Your 3530 will come up as a 3510i whilst running under mobile mb and oxygen phone manager II.

I assume you have set up a connection on mobile mb: click file, connection settings, add connection, FBUS cable on com (1). Phone will only be detected under FBUS.

You can test Your cable with program "Data test" or something like this.

Try to find it in WEB. Or ask me for posting it somewhere.
