It is possible to gain access in the Bluetooth system as used by Mobile Phones and computers.
It is not as secure as the Wireless LAN system that also uses the 2.4GHz radio band. This system is commonly referred to as "Wi-Fi", and has the term IEEE 802.11b.
This system is more secure because it uses up to 128 bit WEP Data Encryption.

BlueTooth is not as sophisticated, therefore is more easily hacked.

Having said that, there are people who permit access to their Wi-Fi network, to allow people to gain Internet access from their LapTops whilst in their car parked within the coverage area of the 2.4GHz range.

The utilisation of a helical aerial means a greater range can be achieved when compared to the normal small aerial fitted to the Wi-Fi adaptor.
Some companies use helical aerials for "Point to Point" networking over several kilometres.

If you just want to listen to people chatting on their phones, try wearing a BlueTooth headset in a room crowded with other phone users, also using a BlueTooth headset, you may get lucky.

If you wish to hack into a Nokia 3650, or computer BlueTooth network, that can be done relatively simply. All you need to do is.................................
