Hi

I am using N6600 on Vodafone in UK, and I have set up my access point as Vodafone UK for GPRS. Since I am doing a lot of J2me development particulary n/w related MIDLets since most of this development is at home. I want to test run the phone application (j2me Apps) using a access point on my PC that way I will be using my PC's internetconnection to browse rather than using Vodafone and hense no charges.

Current Config is something like this

MIDLet(N6600) -----> Vodafone (GPRS) -----------> Internet

What I want it something like this

MIDLet(N6600) ------> Access Point ( My PC - through Bluetooth) ---->Internet

Has any one does a similar configuration ???

I really need it since I dont wanan pay huge GPRS bills for testing my apps.

same goes for me...
The NOKIA devs should just add "bluetooth" as a possible access-point... does anyone agree? till...

those instruction are for the Ngage but they should work for the 6600 too there was a much simpler post on this forum a couple weeks ago explaining how to do it too..

This question is asked many times before just use the search function....one more time then: Connecting to internet trough the pc's broadband connection can't be done on a 6600 because it has wap 2.0! and you can't choose DHCP so this is the reason why. Altough it can be done on a 7650, 3650 and Ngage.
