Contract SIM in PAYG 3210

I have put a Contract Sim card in a Pay as you go 3210 and it gives an error message and will not accprt the SIM. I have Unlocked the 3210 but it still wont work - any information available ? Both SIM and phone are Vodaphone.

Has it asked for a security code? default is 12345 on Nokia's.

If the phone is unlocked (was possibly never locked if originally on Voda) then there should be no problem

what is the exact message you get?

"sim card not accepted" - phone may be locked with lock 2 - make sure all the locks are open, with cable or codes.
"sim card rejected" - replace the sim. no other solution.
