I found out on my own that defragmenting your mmc, the 1u use in your Nokia Series60 mobile phone(s) is a smart move it puts all your files where they belong in the correct areas or portions of your mmc, 2 free up space so u can store more on 2 the mmc, files won't be trying 2 cancel each other out depending what u have on your mmc, 2 prevent crashes or hang-ups. Remember your mmc is know more than a smaller version of a harddrive 2 store games, apps, wallpapers, ringtones & etc. Just like the 1 in your computer it needs 2b defragmented every now & then as well. Defragmenting a mmc u need a mmc card reader.

By using a Dazzle 6-In-1 Reader or some other 1 connected 2 your computer, then go 2 My Computer. Click on Removable Disk (H) or (I), 2 high light it. Then click on the right mouse button, scroll down 2 Properties. There a window will open w/General,AutoPlay,Tools,Hardware,Norton & Sharing, u want Tools nothing else. In tools windows u'll c Error-checking, Defragmentation & Backup. Defragmentation is what u use. As far as an extra file being inplanted on the mmc it's just plain Non-Sense. All the card reader is doing is putting yours games, apps what every in proper order & location on your mmc, and make more space on your mmc. Cause when more N-gage games come out, we all will need the extra space. Especially if your not using a Kingmax 256mb (current) or a Tec 512mb mmc. A 128mb mmc just ain't gonna cut it.

It did? Thats unusual, defragmenting is pretty much just moving the files.

Then u did something wrong, i did my Sandisk 128mb & Kingmax 256mb mmc both still work perfectly!. And if u followed the instruction that i had given in a earlier posting, nothing should have gone wrong. Like i explained earlier i guess all of u do defragment your harddrive on your computer once a month or every other month. Check with anybody who knows computers well. Will tell u the samething.

that could happen.for example,my 7-in-1 reader just "deformatted" my 128 mb secure digital...only by putting it in.
so JUST be careful...........
