rm converter

as i seem only to find movies in rm format and i want to watch them full screen can somebody please suggest a converter to 3gp or avi please, i cannot use nokiamultimedia converter as i have win98 and i cannot use pc suite as i dont have IR or bluetooth, i can only find trial programmes which for example only let me convert 2 mins.. any suggestions please

Try Pvauthor from packet video, it converts mpeg videos to mp4, you can then use pvplayer to play the converted movies in your phone (pvplayer can play videos in fullscreen, unfortunately, the quality isn't so good). There's a cracked version of pvauthtor 3.0, it's not as good as version 3.3 (no crack yet), but at least it's readily available. Just use the search function of the forum to find a link where you can download it.

I think I have misunderstood something , I understood that i should download pvauthor in order for me to convert .rm files to 3gp, i downloaded pvauthor but it doesn't recognise .rm files.. so now what???????????

go on to nokia.com and seach 4 nokia multimedia converter 2.0 and download that and that does al of it 4 u

as I explained in my first post I cannot use nokia multimedia converter as I have win98 and I cannot upgrade as it is the computer i use at work]

Pvauthor does not convert .rm files to 3gp. You need the original mpeg of avi source file. I was under the impression that you were the one who converted the video file to .rm format, hence, you have the original source video file in mpeg or avi format. Check out www.dvdrhelp.com, everything you need to know about video conversion is in that website.

[thanx for the link, will check it out. I downloaded the .rm movie from IRC channels, so am i correct in thinking that everyone who is downloading movies from IRC is watching the film small screen???

yup, no big screen for rm format yet. if u wan full screen, its either 3gp, mp4 or mo formats.

when i try to install the patch it tells me that the PATTERN NOT FOUND any ideaswhy? I want to convert the films but the trial period is over and the crack doesn't seem to work for me

seagate HDD 7200
1Gb DDR RAM
AG2 soundcard

and still i took like an hour XD anyways to make it faster?hahahah
