That happens with every mobile phone, if you remove the battery how can the phone keep the clock going???? The answer is every time you remove your battery you will have to reset the clock again :-P

not neccessarily. They have a capacitor in them which holds a small amount of charge that prevents the memory for time/date etc from being erased if the battery is taken out for a short time i.e to change the sim card.
Does the time reset even if you put the battery back in immediately, or do you have the battery out for a few hours at a time? I dont know how long you can leave it out but you should have plenty of time to change the SIM over and even clean it a bit before the charge is gone

It loses time whenever I remove the battery even if I put it back immediately. It wasn't like that before.

If it wasnt like that before somethings gone wrong. If its under warranty its worth getting fixed, otherwise its probably not worth the cost of getting it looked at. Depends how much it annoys you I guess!

Thats normal then. If you turn the phone off before removing the battery than the phone can shut down correctly and the memory is preserved. By removing the battery without turning the phone off the phone drains the backup and hence your time is lost
