is the security code on nokia's restricted to a certain number of digits?

well u could explain a bit better what ur problem is.. btw the defaul security code on all nokia is 12345

oh I think, am not sure u hv a 5 digit limit.. :-? not sure..

i changed my security code a while ago and i can't remember it and now it won't work with any other sim card. i have tried codes i may have used from memory and just wanted to know whether it had to be 4 digits or 5 digits etc.

security code is 5 digits long. cannot be shorter/longer than that.
