well... it is like that becuase, as you said, no one have nokia 5100, and this section is only for 5100 and 5140. i think the 1xxx and the 2xxx sections will be like this one too.. at least untill new models will be released.

thinking about it, i don't know why so few people buy nokia 5100..

Hopefully with the release of the Nokia 5140 the members of this section will increase. But the Nokia 5100 is a great phone, there cheap to buy, although slightly on the big side, they are really tough, and very very few people ever seem to have a problem with them! And at least the water proofing/resistance on this model (compared with the Nokia 5210) actually works, as my friend who also has a Nokia 5100 dropped it fully into water a couple of months ago and the phone is still going strong! But I remember people finding the 5120 was not water resistant at all...

Well... Im getting a 5100 in about three days. So hopefully Ill help make this board a better place. I think the 5100 is a great phone, thats why im buying it.

im probably going to buy the 5100 for my lovely and beautiful girlfriend. i have the 6610 now and couldnt be happier. anyway, is the 5100 similar in menus and graphics and usability?? i ask because i have a DKU-5 cable and software which i use for my 6610, and i would like to use it also on her 5100. maybe put a picture of me in there!!! hehehehe

It sure is, there both series 40 phones so the games and such are compatiable for both. The logos in the menus are slightly different, e.g. the picture for messages is a letter in a bottle, but Nokia do that to individualise each phone model a little bit! She won't be disapointed with your purchase!

i used my girlfriend's new 5100 for a while, and i have to sa it is really nice. the flashlight it has can come in very handy, as well as the rubber cover protecting the phone. however, its menus are just like my 6610, almost 100% identical. it is as thought they took the 6610 and gave it a different look.

she is very happy with it, and i think i made a good buy.

i think that this section was dead because of people like us...
you like the 5100 - but you baught a 3200..
i like 5100 too - but i bought a 6610..

..i guess others too...maybe it's the design... we got to admit - 5100 looks a bit strange..
