Hello

I really hope you can help me here, because today I first flashed a Nokia 3410 it worked - Cool, but after I flashed my 3310, but I didn't change the Phone Type back to 3310, so Rolis flashed my 3310 as 3410 with 3310 software, and now the display is dead..

I can hear a sound when i press the keys down, and I can hear the "low battery" sound, but my display is dead....

I had tryed:
* Flash phone back with 3310 software
* Flash a Vergin Eprom
* Read a working 3310 software as 3410, then flash it as 3310
* Read a working 3310 software as 3410, then flash it as 3410

Can someone help me? I'm sitting here with my lovely 3310 which is dead

use knok to erase all flash
then flash a virgin 3310 eeprom to the address 003D0000
then flash a MCU+PPM flash file to the address 00200000

that's it :)

the folowing steps (and also the ones i wrote) are clearly explained in the tutorials section.

If you dared to flash the phone, don't be afraid to search and read (a lot :-P )

cheers 8-)

PS: don't forget to write IMEI back ;)

Do all the above plus charge your battery too.
The resolution is different for a 3410->3310. needless to say this is a popular conversion which will work. You just need an LCD from a 3410.
And a facia as the buttons are different.

Do you know which version the flash was on your 3310 before you flashed?

Get hold of the right version, and erase the corrupt flash. Then simply flash in your new firmware.
Sounds like you have only flashed in the MCU & PPM and not the eeprom to give this fault.

Start again, then it will be ok.
