Emptying or clearing the 6600 inbox?

i have loads of messages and cant be arsed to delete them one at a time cant i just empty the whole inbox like on my 6600 ?

Just click "mark all" and select delete or hold down the pencil key and move the joypad down to mark the messages you want to delete ..
