On the diagram the the things labelled with ?marks

The big square thing with the triangles inside is the chip the 74HC14
these are very cheap in the uk they are about 20-50p

The thing that says 10k ohm is a resistor

The thing that says 0.01uF is a capacitor

Pin 7 of the Chip needs to conduct to ground also

You can find the pinout for the 3310 anywhere on the internet, try google.

You can build this very simple flasher on vero board or breadboard it is very simple to make

Danny

thanks for replying,is this diagram works fine? i also seen dejan's diagram, which is good? and pls explain + and - part of the capacitors, resistor, diode. and list the all parts names which is needed to build a flash cable

This is the most basic type of flasher, you can use it with rollis flasher, knok etc.

Resistors can go either way round
That capacitor is non-polarised so it can go either wound also

Diodes have a polatity, if you look on the diagram they have an arrow with a bar on it, on the actual diode it will have a little black band all the way round it on one end, this is the bar in the diagram

---------------

Parts List

1 10k Resistor
1 0.1uF ceramic capacitor
2 1N4148 Diodes
1 74HC14 (it need to have the HC in the middle of it it means High Speed CMOS)
1 Small piece of vero board
Solder

---------------

The early dejan flasher is just the same as this :-P

i made the flasher cable, checked everything!,i am getting error msgs in rolis,
preloader boot error check
-mobile choose
-cable and contacts
-cable supply

pls need hlp!

Make sure the correct pins of the chip are connected to the phone
Also ehn you go to flash after is says switch on phone wait 2 or 3 seconds then instead of turning it on plug in your charger

Do you have much experiance with electronics??

i got the flasher working by connecting pin7 to Gnd :),my 3330 firmware is 04.30 the prob is i converted data to flash cable, now i need data cable also to upgrade to 3315,attached diagram works? dan i need a step by step guide to convert 3330 to 3315.

thks

I would build that, It doesn't look like it would work
You can always try though
Normally mbus cables have a transistor between the Rx and Tx lines

Here is a standard M/Bus cable schem

I have a dual mbus and flasher diagram also if you want it

yep i need combo diagram ,any working combo diagram based on the current flasher i built.here i can't get the socket alone thats why i need a simple combo :)

btw i need full clean flash of 3315,where to get?

Here is the diagram I drew earlier on

It should work but you may need to unplug the other cable

eg when flashing only have the LTP plugged in
and visa versa

i am planing to use my data cable with flash cable which i made with diagram on my 1st post, the attached diagram is how my data cable was attached to the socket before i :),can this cable attached to the flash one?

I would just use the diagram that I put before I will repost one with the pinouts in a minute ;)

Heres the pinout for the 74HC14, hope this helps you

The transistors pinout can vary from transistor to transistor
The BC547 with the flat edge facing you goes Collector Base Emitter I think

Here is an updated version of your diagram for use with the flasher

I have also included the 3310 pinout if it helps

If you want you could probably solder both cables in at once but you will need to unplug one whilst you use the other :-P

Danny

heheh, sry for replaying to thread so old, but... i need some answers and this topic has some good info.

i need to know that is this scheme correct for dejan flasher cable? and does this other pic have correct numbers?

thanks

yes these are both correct

but you dont really need the vpp conection for the 3310 so you dont need R2 or the connection ;)

Danny

already soldered R2 :P
im not doing it on PCB (seems too much work for this simple scheme)...
im using hanging wires n stuff...

is there a way to test that thing without flashing anything? because i dont have regular Fbus/mbus cable yet. I want to buy it, cuz parts for it costs more than itself at store... flash cable is a different story.

i havent flashed Ever before.

edit:
does anyone know where to take GND?
http://www.gsm-technology.com/g/for_unlockers/pinout/noki3310_big.jpg
My scheme doesnt say anything about GND nor how to take it for that pin in the phone.

The GND goes to the bottom rail on the scematic, same as Pin 7 to the 74HC14.

To test it I suggest plugging it in and trying to read the flash file with rollis flasher.
A little info that is useful, when it asks you to switch the phone on plug your charger in instead as it uses less battery power.

I made my very first flasher too, very very simple.
The second one I made was combined flasher and mbus
The third was a DIY prodigy
;)

The Mbus cable wont cost anymore than a flash cable, its relatively the same scheme.

good luck,
Danny

Flash cable costs here in Estonia 250-400$ EEK
FBus/MBus cable costs 75$ EEK
You CAN see the difference

I see, quite a difference. ;)

hmmz...
why do i need btemp? its not going to be connected to the phone (right?), so why do i need it?

danwood76

yeah you dont need that either
its used to tell the batterys temperature when charging, if you were using a service battery it would tell the phone that the battery is 0 degrees so it doesnt think its overheating :)

Danny
