Adding equipment to IrRemote possible ?

Is it possible to use irRemote as an XBOX remote ?
None of my equipment are supported with this app so I wish there was a learning function on this tool.

Cable tuner is a General Electric and tv is a ROWA

yes, it's programmable, but you need the "Total" version

go to www.remotecentral.com, you will find several thousand makes and models of electronic equipments, download the model you need, and then transfer to your symbian device, Total IRRemote will recognize it automatically.

AWESOME.... now I just have to get my 7650 up and running and I will be all set lol (I tried to format it and I got the message "Phone start-up failed. Contact the retailer" and now it needs new firmware :-x )

in short download the textfile to your PC, rename it to .lirc and send it to your phone. Total IRremote will recognize it and import it. Then u select user defined device, and get a list of commands that you imported, and assign them to buttons on one of the predefined irremote layouts.

I tried the one for XBOX but it didnt work.. Maybe it is only for American xbox and not Aussie xbox as i have.
