Hell again,

Havn't posted here in a little while, hope everyones ok.

My company has a new mobile phone sms system whereby all sms's are sent through a 6210 via cable. They obviously want the number which the message came from to be anonymous as they dont want to be receiving lots of replies.

Please has anyone any idea of how to accomplish this?

Regards,
Mike

You can get mass SMS sending programs that send over the internet
You can set these to what ever number you want

Don't know about sending from phones though
There was a thread about this a while ago

If you use a certain SMSC then it sends the message with a fixed number but I'm not sure

I remember the thread, cant remember the application. I did however find what could be a useful site.
http://www.textmefree.com/send-bulk-sms.html

It seems to cover majority of what you need to do, but looks like its mostly online SMS sending.
The application I remember was you send your text to a server which then allows you to customise the sender ID, pretty much how the Networks cover service numbers which we all receive. The number gets translated into alphanumeric format of your choice IE: 078900 123456 becomes "My Phone" or whatever you require.

Thats enough, I am rambling!
