Using the online generator I got this back

IMEI: (Removed by Deviat0r)
MCC-MNC: 23415
Phone model: 6610

To unlock your phone enter the following codes (most of cases you only need to enter yellow codes):

If your phone is from USA, Austria, France, Hungary, Netherlands, Mexico, Portugal or Spain please use code 1 in the list below then code 7 if that does not work.
For Vodafone Sweden enter code 4 then code 1

#pw+ 12211445
#pw+39652652
#pw+23607536
#pw+09254322
#pw+10400413
#pw+74491077
#pw+09950322

(REMOVED End of codes to comply with rules!)

I have tried code 1 & 7 to no avail. I don't want to keep trying as I know this will lock the phone out.

My main question is code 1 has a space in it, is it supposed to have a space in it??? I tried the code without the space, I haven't tried it with it yet.

OK,

So now I'm even more confused.....

Using the MobTool I got completely different codes. Does this mean that there are different codes that will all work?

I really don't understand

HELP PLEASE!

Dave

UPDATE:>>>>>>
This is getting worse! If when using MobTool, I enter the network code as 23415 (voda uk) I get one set of codes. When I use the network selector within MobTool, it puts the network code in as 23415000 and this then produces different codes.

So far I have 3 sets of codes, all different.

Hum :-?

Yotamz
19-05-2004, 06:38 PM
as much as i know, mobtool's final version wasn't published yet, so it may have some bugs.

just to be sure, untill everything will be fixed, use the ultimate calc.

about the network code, adding 000s after the network number will not change the code, 23415 and 23415000000 shall give the same codes, but if it doesn't the codes for the normal 23415 will be the correct ones.

from checking mobtool myself it worked ok, just choose v2, and all the other settings.

Hi,

I have spoken to Cosmictej through PM's over this (rules re: IMEI) and I am still not able to unlock the phone. It isn't unlocked as it will not accept other sims.

And yeah, the older ver of mobtool did produce different codes dependant on the zeros on the end. THe new one doesn't.

I still have the same problem with not being able to unlock it. Still 'Code error' displayed when I try them!

Bizaar.

I have a Nokia 6230 locked to Vodafone Portugal (MCC-MNC 26801) and tried to unlock it. The codes from the online generator (I chose 7250i as I though it was similar) and another software DCT4 generator I tried are the same. I tried first nš1 and then nš1, but they both said Wrong Code. The first one I tryed with the sim (forgot to look at the readme first :( ) on and the second with the sim off. I was going to try nš1 again without the sim, but I want to know first if it really makes a difference if the sim is on or not, so I don't waste a 3rd chance. If that doesn'w work, what options do I have? Try one of the other codes, between 2 and 6?

TIA

The online code generator gives incorrect codes for nokia 7610.

Check them against mobtool2.75 and crux unlock v1.85. both software produce correct codes for 7610 !!

Hi guys,

I used the code generator on this site to get unlock codes for my girlfriends Virgin 7250i but when I enter the codes it just says code error and the phone remains locked, can anyone tell me what Im doing wrong?

I have tried entering codes 1 and 7 and got code error for both, should I try codes 2 through 6? I don't want to end up locking the phone totally....

Hi

I want to use the calculator http://unlock.nokiafree.org/ but am stuck with the GEN codes.

There seems to be no explanation as to what the new griffin, asic 6, griffin clip, v1, v2, old griffin, prodigy and original options are for.

I want to calculate for a 6100 locked to Orange UK.

Apart from that - great site and thanks in advance for your reply.
keep the good work up mods!!

GEN is a box-serial, it makes slight changes in the first digits of the unlock codes.

in theory - all of them should work for any model (except V1 which was blocked long time ago), but the 100% tested results are:

for 1100 - GEN=Griffin Clip
for 6230 - GEN=Asic 6
for any other - GEN=V2

as for others - they are there for the purpose of having a complete calc, and may have use in the future.

So here is my story...

For quite awhile, I have been trying to figure out why none of these calculators worked for me. It started when i called my provider, TMO, and obtained the unlock code for my N3650. I then back-peddeled; tried to make any calculator give me the same code..none of em did. but i noticed that if i used v1 or v2 code they calculated a code that was VERY close..off by one or two digits. I started reading through forum pages and discovered the " boxkey ". I never realised you could have a custom key...not v1 or 2...
Well, the bottom line is I happen to have 2 nokia 3650's and one 3660, all originally locked to TMO and all unlocked using the code given to me by them. After I realised you could have a custom boxkey, I played around and found #32825 to generate the EXACT code TMO gave me on for all three phones. in looking through the forum, I see everywhere that v2 ( 33820 ) is being the one ppl are told to use anso I just thought I'd share this experience. Its been a bit of a road 4 me.

Yotamz

thanks for sharing this information.

about different box serials - in theory - every serial that starts with 32,33,34 will work.
the first calculators had only 32820 (what we call today "V1"). then nokia found out about that, and blocked it on newer phones. then someone changed the second digit, and the new serial was 33820 (what we call today "V2").
everyone started to use this one, and it worked, and so now we always tell people to use v2.

In theory yes, but it is very unsafe.

And the "nice" V2-codes were blacklisted long time ago in 1100/3200 and all newer phones... Remeber, who was the first, to post new 33552 from GTCL-1? This solved the problem - temorarely.

But still Nokia is blacklisting, and still crap-soft creators are copying from my application...

you have mentioned your software, and the fact that people steal from you many times today.

where is your program?

another thing - this code is the same as t-mobile codes. anyone who baught the code from t-mobile could post this box-key.
..coming to think about it - it was posted a few months ago.

--edit--
the first one to post about the GTCL-1 key was Unique, from UniqueSW team. they may be not the first ones to "discover" it - but they did find it on their own.
that's only in the free software area.
griffin team created this dongle in the first place.

33552 (GTCL-1), I posted it at GSM-City on 30/12/2003.

Also the box SN we are talking about is from T-Mobile Austria (32835) and from ONE Austria (32836). The codes were aquired from there by me personally. The other SNs like the "T-Mobile" currenty in use is not from me.

Actually, DCT4Calc not used by many people, because it is a DOS application - and most people are too stupid to use a console nowadays.
32836 (ONE) and all others are already blacklisted by Nokia (100% confirmed).

Yes, I know GT did this. I never claimed different.

@dct4calc

ok, i'm not reading a lot at gsmcity, so i will not argue with that.

i can understand why you are angry, but information must be free, and you can be proud to be the one who discovered it.

most people prefer shell programs like you said.. they are easier to use.
i prefer console programs myself, but i haven't seen your program. the one i have supports only asic 2 and 5.

if you want - post your program here.

Here it is:
http://members.chello.at/administrator/DOSCALC.zip

It is not only Win32 console, it is real DOS program that will work on any PC from old 8086 with DOS 3.0 till today.

You can visit this URL in 1 week, because it is regularely updated to prevent blacklistings.

I know, that Information should be free, like Dejan said :-)

I know, that Information should be free, like Dejan said :-)

Thats why you didn't release the calculator you claimed you made? (before someone else released one)

And stop being stupid about box-serials. It's not like everyone steals from you if new serials are discovered. As you probably know, theres no problem to read serial out of an mastercode. It's pretty funny that you are pissed just because someone "stole" a box-serial you (claimed you) discovered. If you didn't want anyone to get it, you shouldnt have posted it anywhere.

Btw, i read an other post you said that all new phones uses new boxserials (v1, v2 won't work) - thats not true at all. They may not work in all new phones, but they will work on others. In Norway V2 codes works on all phones, including new ones (except 6230, which of course need it's own serial).

ok...today I unlocked an older nokia..a 3595 using asic 2 and the same boxkey I used to generate codes for the 3650 and 3660. My question is this...the boxkey...is this a carrier dependent # ?? My 3595 was TMO branded, and used boxkey 32825. If I had an ATT branded 3595, would the boxkey be different? It is obviously not phone model dependant because the same boxkey worked for a 3595, 3650, and a 3660 all TMO locked.

HI,
I tried to use the online generator for a network in Canada but that carrier is not listed.
there are two networks in Canada Rogers AT&T and Microcel. the online generator does not have Microcel listed
the downloadable does have it. in fact it has two netowrk codes for it. one is Microcell Connexions Inc and the other is Fido SPECIAL CODE.
My phone turned out to be the SPECIAL CODE.
What is the difference and why are there two?

I came here looking to unlock a nokia 6600 on Orange UK but the Calculator is so confusing. Not only is there no help guide, there is no explanation as to what GEN is meant to be nor how we find out how to obtain that information.
