7650 As Webcam (Please Read ALL)

Hi

I just got a 7650 after saving money and all! Cuz it was my fav fone since it was released. I am reading these forums abt 7650 and that how it can be used for as WEBCAM. OLD posts (as old as last year) but first of all I need a little help! I am a little ...umm.. DUMB! so... please explain politely..and easily... in a 1-2-3 manner.. steps..

Secondly..You all guys were talking about using it as WEBCAM and transferring data through BLUETOOTH or IrDA! but no one mentioned "DATA CABLES" because the place i live, we get a lots of "DATA CABLES" of almost all phone sets from China! and they r cheaper! hell lot cheaper! so i also wanted comments abt Using Nokia 7650 as Webcam with DATA CABLE! Please dont ignore U GURUS out there..and help me poor :) i'll b really thankful!

PS: Data cables and BT got as much diff as.. if a data cable is for 500$ the BT here wud b around 1900$ :) i hope u get it! *it aint that much, this was jus to give rough idea of ratio* if u guys need to contact u can email at [email protected] i hope U guys gonna help me out!

Yeah you can set up your phone as a webcam, you've gotta use RemoteS60 (it's an application), and then another application for your PC called Softcam.. Once you're proficient in using these then it's a piece of cake for setting up a bluetooth webcam.. I didn't think the quality was too good, not as good as compared to a proper Webcam.

that i undestand sire..but i tried all sources i knew off...and i cud not get Remote S60 orrr others like webcam32 or Softcam..(registered i mean or cracked) wat to do :( where to get those from!

You've got a Data Cable for your 7650, where do you plug it in?

Actually...i dropped the idea of DATA CABLE for a reason, because the guy selling told me, that it'll b connected at place when u TAKE OFF YOUR KEYPAD (GRAY BACK PANEL) and then there's a place (like serial port in PC) where its used to connect... SO it was a very RISKY kinda thing..for a pooor person like me..so Now i got this bluetooth

So.. but i tried REMOTE S60 PRO ver 2, as i was told it doesnt need SOFTCAM but it doesnt give any DRIVER for YAHOO/MSN to recognize or use as active webcam! WHAT TO DO? plz respond quick
