Well I didnt see the previous but i think it looks "classy" and "not over the top" like some of the others and easy on the eyes as well as easy to navigate in fact "I like it" :D

the previous was about the same, only the color of the forum list, and the thread list were lighter (like the color of the nick names now), and the background was a little lighter too.

not a big difference...

I think it is only people not running IE6 that seem to have a problem

Most people are either running netscape or a lower version of IE

I've never had problems with it :)

yeah i guess that's the problem..

but even though the lists are a bit too dark, i can live with it..

p.s. - i'm using IE 5.

What exactly do you call a 'pretty' colour scheme? A white background with black writing? There is nothing wrong with the colours. There is no obligation to stay here, keep that in mind, if you dispise the scheme, and want to whinge about it, then don't be here.

Basically there is no problem

I think it is about time for this thread to close :)

If you are still unclear on what exactly it is, then check out Mr. Man0ns thread.

You may have seen it on other forums, it's basically a karma system. You can add or remove people's repuatation. It doesn't effect anything, it's just something different.

whoa, i can reduce ppl's reputation points by more than 200.....

that's right... but think about it - you can't choose how many points you give or take. once you click the button - you gave/took 200+ points, so think before you use this option.

yup, like a double edged knife, it can help or kill...

I think you missed the point
If you get a bad reputation on the forum then you get warned and then possibly banned

@ All

I too think there is a few creases in the new system that need to be worked out
Eg as tzenon just said he can basically kill someone with his power points

Danny

Well.... you could have a conflict with someone in a thread, and they can just lower your reputation, and keep on doing so, even signing up with multiple accounts to do so.

i tink tts where the ip addresses come in handy.

It all depends on whether your IP is static or dynamic.

You can only give out bad rep to the same person every 20 persons
You also need a reputation of 25 to start adding or taking away
so effectively you cannot really do to much damage unless you are a Moderator or well respected in the forum
As you need a high rep or a very high post count to get a high power point thingy

Danny
